Parent University: The Digital World and Youth Mental Health
April 20 at 6:00pm
Central High School Media Center
The Digital Wellness Initiative is pleased to collaborate with Parent University, a Hopewell Valley Regional School District parent education and support program, to bring this presentation to our community.
The April 20th Parent University will look at youth mental health trends, technology trends, and make connections between the two. Relatedly, we will explore some known physiological impacts of technology use and discuss how these connect to a biological basis for the increasing mental health struggles of our youth. Lastly, we will consider how parents, caregivers and adults can support youth mental health in consideration of all this information.
Parent University is presented by Ms. Samantha Awadallah, MS, LPC, Rutgers School Based Clinician for the Hopewell Valley Regional School District. Please click here to register. View flyer here.
